Abstract

The article analyzes the current state of the problem of using artificial intelligence (AI) in the preparation of future primary school teachers to work with educational media content. Modern approaches to the use of AI in education are analyzed, as well as its potential opportunities for improving the training of future primary school teachers to work with educational media content. On the basis of theoretical analysis and empirical research, the main directions of using AI in the preparation of future primary school teachers to work with educational media content are described. The possibility of using AI technologies in training future primary school teachers to work with educational media content is substantiated, in particular in the context of training a modern education seeker belonging to the Alpha generation. Generative technologies of artificial intelligence available in Ukraine have been tested – chatbots ChatGPT and Google Bard. The principles of responsible and ethical use of media content in the context of the formation of students’ values and worldview, as well as the possibilities and limitations of media content with the use of AI in the preparation of future primary school teachers to work with educational media content are considered. The possibilities, advantages and prospects of using artificial intelligence technologies in the preparation of future primary school teachers to work with educational media content have been identified, in particular due to the improvement of quality, increased accessibility and increased effectiveness of training primary education
teachers by creating educational materials on media literacy for future teachers; development of tools for analysis and assessment of educational media content; introduction of virtual laboratories for the practice of working with educational media content.
