The article is devoted to the topical issue of improving the professional training of future primary school teachers, in particular, the organization of media education for primary school students in a globalizing information society. The need to search for new methods, content and scientific and methodological support for teacher training is due to socio-economic transformations in Ukraine, which have led to a revision of value orientations and the renewal of pedagogical technologies.
The article deals with a systematic pedagogical study of the development of future teachers’ creative potential, which covers the phenomenological, analytical and synthetic, axiomatic and prognostic levels. At the phenomenological level, facts or phenomena, their qualities and properties are described and cataloged. The analytical and synthetic level involves the study of the essence of the object using generally accepted pedagogical terminology, analysis of its properties and patterns of functioning. At the axiomatic level, the values of the object under study are revealed through interdisciplinary scientific concepts and ways to improve its further study are identified. The prognostic level includes modeling of the main processes and phenomena, creation of models that allow to study the regularities of the object’s functioning and determine the didactic conditions for their implementation.
The practical application of the created models involves experimental verification of theoretical positions and evaluation of the achieved results of students’ educational and creative activities. The authors emphasize the importance of developing a clear system of pedagogical research methods for training future teachers to organize media education, as it is currently absent, which emphasizes the relevance of the problem and opens up prospects for further research.
The conceptual model of training future teachers to organize media education is based on a systematic approach that allows taking into account the place and role of each element of the system, holistically studying the relationships between the components of student media competence, as well as the influence of internal and external factors on its development. The main idea is to create an extensive system of active learning and professional expression that promotes the development of a dialogic culture, creative imagination, professional intuition, the ability to theoretically analyze and practically implement the developed models.
